I'm Will, an Enrolled Agent and the founder of Zone 2 Tax Solutions. My background is in accounting and financial technology, where I spent years making sure numbers were right in payroll and financial systems. I started this practice to give people someone they can count on, so taxes are one less thing to worry about. Whenever something tax-related comes up, I want your first thought to be “Will will handle it.” And I will, always with your best interest first.
Every service follows three simple steps. Choose a service to see yours.
From annual returns to IRS notices, four ways we help you stay compliant and keep more of what you earn.
Federal and state returns for individuals and self-employed people in any state. You pay once you approve your written quote, before we start.
A planning session plus a written summary of strategies to lower future taxes, from estimated payments to retirement contributions and major life changes.
Year-round plan: four check-ins, quarterly estimates and direct phone access. Quoted after your planning session.
A focused 30-minute session for specific questions and financial or strategic tax decisions. Your fee is credited toward tax preparation if you hire us within 30 days.
As an Enrolled Agent, we can represent you before the IRS on notices, audits, payment plans and penalties. Larger cases are quoted after we review your situation.
Quick answers to what people ask most before getting started.
Pricing depends on the complexity of your return, such as the forms and schedules involved, self-employment income or rental properties. You'll get a firm quote in writing, and for tax preparation, tax planning and IRS representation, you pay in full once you approve it, before we begin. Tax consulting sessions are paid when you book. If your documents show something your quote didn't cover, we'll send an updated quote before doing any additional work.
No. For tax preparation, most clients get started online: answer a few questions, upload your documents, and we'll email you a quote. If you'd rather talk first, book a free discovery call. We'll schedule a meeting later only if something needs discussing.
Just start with what you have, usually W-2s, 1099s and a photo ID. If you're self-employed, bank statements or exports from payment apps are a fine starting point, and we'll help you organize them. Missing a form or last year's return? With your permission, we can request your income records directly from the IRS. Our intake questionnaire builds a personalized checklist for you.
Yes. Protecting your information is one of the most important parts of our job as federally licensed tax professionals. You share documents through an encrypted client portal instead of email, our accounts use two-step verification, and we follow a written security plan built to federal standards. We'll never ask you to email your Social Security number or tax documents.
Yes. Enrolled Agents are federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, so we can review your notice, explain what it means and respond on your behalf. Have the letter handy when you reach out.
Yes. We can prepare and file past-due returns, and with your permission we can request your income records from the IRS to fill in any missing forms. Filing sooner can help limit penalties and interest, so it's worth reaching out even if your paperwork isn't complete.
An Enrolled Agent is a federally licensed tax professional. Enrolled Agents earn the credential by passing a comprehensive IRS exam on tax law, complete continuing education every year, and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS on any tax matter.
